A Career Spent in Other People’s Houses

David Brockelhurst grew up in Steubenville, Ohio, a steel town on the Ohio River. He has spent nearly his whole adult life working in homes.

He started in water and fire damage restoration. That work puts you in someone’s house on the worst day they’ve had in years: a flooded basement, a kitchen fire, a family standing in the driveway not sure what happens next. You learn fast that people don’t need a sales pitch in that moment. They need someone calm who tells them what’s going on and what it will take to fix it.

From there he spent years as a manager for a residential painting company, running crews, scheduling jobs, and walking homeowners through estimates. Then he moved into radon, managing radon mitigation projects here in York County. He lives in Red Lion today, and that’s where The Radon Enforcer is based.
